Q: Will I have to share accommodation?
A: No, whether you are a couple or a single person, you won’t have to share any accommodation.
Q: Will my accommodation be in a quiet area?
A: The apartments are situated in a quiet residential area and the Rural Hotel is also in a very quiet area.
Q: If my return flight is later in the day, will there be somewhere I can store my luggage?
A: Yes, we will happily look after your luggage during the day, until it is time for you to return to the airport.
Q: Are towels and linen supplied?
A: Yes, these are supplied.
The Walks
Q: How fit do I need to be?
A: You will need to be reasonably fit so you can enjoy and get the most from your walking holiday. We offer two grades of walking level Low and Medium so you can choose the option best suited to your ability. Please contact us should you need to discuss.
Q: What standard of walking ability will the other guests be in my walking group? I am worried in case I cannot keep up.
A: No two people will be the same. Whichever grade you choose, there will be a mixture of experience in your group and the walking pace will be set by your guide. Remember you are on holiday, we have all day and you are in Spain!
Q: What happens if I injure myself on a walk?
A: Guided walks. On a guided walk, the guide will be first aid trained.
Q: Which equipment do I need to bring with me?
A: On receipt of your completed booking form, we will advise you on any equipment you may require for your holiday depending on the time of year.
Q : What is the max number in a group?
A: Guided Walk - There will be no more than 8 people in a Guided walking group.

Q: What is the average age of people who go on your holidays?
A: Our holidays are open to everyone above the age of 18 years and all are welcome. We have a variety of age groups who join us on our holidays, but usually the ages range between 35 to 60+.
Q: How safe will I be on my walking holiday?
A: You should be aware that walking in hills and mountains does involve an element of risk. The terrain underfoot will vary during your walks and you may find walking poles a great aid to mobility over uneven ground.
Your Guide will be responsible for the overall safety of the group during your walks.
Single Guests
Q: Are there many single people on your holidays?
A: Single people holiday with us. Our holidays are extremely friendly and single people will have no problem fitting in. We can never say how many of your group will be single, but everyone who joins us on our holidays shares a passion for walking and it’s likely that you'll make some new friends!
General Questions
Q: Are flights included in the price?
A: No, our holidays do not include flights. This allows guests to choose their most convenient airport.
Q: Have you ever cancelled a walking holiday due to minimum numbers?
A: No, we pride ourselves on never cancelling a holiday.
Q: If I choose the Group Dining option, which type of evening meals can I expect?
A: All our evening meals will be taken in local, traditional eating establishments offering meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. You choose from the menu whichever you would like to eat and drink at your own cost.
Q: I have a non-walking partner, can they join me on my walking holiday?
A: Yes of course! Frigiliana is the ideal location to wander through and enjoy a true Andalucian village atmosphere. Whether you prefer sitting outside a café with a drink, reading a book or just watching the old Spanish folk go about their daily routines, Frigiliana is a perfect place to relax. The wonderful town of Nerja lies only 6 kms from Frigiliana and is only a ten minute bus ride away.

Q: Can I pay in euros/dollars?
A: Payment is by Paypal, UK Sterling cheque or bank transfer. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments via Paypal. We can arrange for you to pay in euros or dollars – please contact us for details.
Q: Where are my monies held ?
A: Your monies are held safely in a Clients Account until your holiday is complete.
