Our guided walking holidays will give you the opportunity to visit the most beautiful and scenic parts of the Axarquia. We will take you off the beaten track, so you can enjoy the hidden gems which are often missed.

You will be accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Our guided walks are the perfect answer for those who enjoy walking as part of a small friendly group.

We are conscious that some walkers may have concerns when booking a walking holiday holiday that they may find it difficult to keep up with the rest of the group and therefore will not enjoy their walking holiday.

We would like to reassure you that this will not happen at purehigh. Your group guide will control a comfortable pace and will walk with all individual members throughout the day ensuring you are comfortable and having a great walking experience.

Our Walking Grade

To see the type of terrain you will experience when walking with purehigh we have put together a short video showing the type of terrain for a graded level - Easy moderate walking holiday.

Our walks are graded by way of average walking distance, time taken to complete the walk, the difficulty of terrain and gradients.

Holiday company seems to vary the way they grade their walks, they should therefore be treated as a guide only. Of course, should you require more information, then please do contact us.

Walking with purehigh you will experience ascents and descents, paths, tracks,

mule trails and our walks will last around 5+ hours including breaks.

Will suit the walker who wishes to take their walking holiday that little bit easier, but still wishes to really experience the mountains, flora and fauna.

You do not need to have had any hillwalking experience, but you should be in good health and walk on a fairly regular basis. (Walking fit)

The walking pace will be leisurely with plenty of rest stops, opportunities to take photographs and time to enjoy the mountains.
